CRAFT BEER IS TYPICALLY UNPASTEURIZED AND LARGELY UNFILTERED
So what does that mean for you? Pasteurization can dull flavors to an extent, whereas craft beers are all about flavor.

FRESHNESS IS ANOTHER FACTOR TO BE CONSIDERED
Because craft beer has not undergone the pasteurization process, it needs to be kept chilled and not exposed to light. This will maintain freshness and allow a maturation of flavors. Consuming craft beer past six months is not recommended (there can be some exceptions) with some breweries preferring their product be consumed within three months for maximum freshness and flavor
CRAFT BEER IS ALL ABOUT VARIETY AND ENHANCING YOUR PALATE.
IT CAN BE JUST AS MUCH ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE AS THE BEER ITSELF.
