CBN1.0 Original Location Construction
Removing old signage.
Doing the demo for the original location. This was the beginning of something special. If only Josh and Erin knew what they were about to create.
Letting the people know what's to come.
Starting fresh with a blank canvas.
Starting the framing in of the keg cooler.
It's all about having the high ground.
Seems to be a lot of jaws moving and not many hammers swinging.
Starting to look like something. Not quite sure what yet but we'll get there.
People had no idea how many beers would be sold across this counter. This would become the place where a community would begin to develop, and friendship would be made.
Veneer bricks are up and ready to be jointed.
Josh and Erin knew what they were doing when they decided to go with open face coolers. There's nothing like being able to take your time, pick up the can and read all the info about the beer you're thinking about purchasing. Craft Beer is all about the experience and picking out the ones you want is not something to be rushed.
I always loved this mural when I went into the original location. It's a shame we were not able to salvage it for the new location. But who knows, maybe one day we will be able to recreate it on a wall here...
Doors for the electrical cabinet are up with the beautiful laser etched logo. Much better than looking at a panel and patch cords.
Craft beer is all about the hops baby. They literally light up my life.
One of the last things of a construction project is getting your signage up. It's always an exciting time and the final piece of the puzzle. All the blood sweat and tears are worth it during this moment. I know exactly what how Josh and Erin are feeling in this picture.
Sign is up and ready to bring them in. Can't wait to see this thing lit up at night!
16 beers tapped in and ready to pour. Red Deer's first exclusively craft beer store is now open.
36' of cold craft beer ready for the masses.
We're not just craft beer you know. The shelves are full of growler bottles, beer caddies and craft spirits.
Josh and Erin enjoy a well-deserved glass of craft beer. We are honored to continue the legacy they built. Many people have dreams but very few chase them. Thank you, Josh and Erin, for being a part of the 1% that do. Cheers!
